SOSBY does not replace 112. It alerts those who can get there first, and gives them what they need to act.
🎯 The concept in 30 seconds
You create a circle: “Family”, “Friends”, “Colleagues”… A closed group that people can only join by invitation, with a six-digit code valid for two days. You trigger the alert, your loved ones are notified, and they respond. That's all.
✨ Five ways to trigger an alert
- 🔴 a 2-second long press on the big red button in the app;
- 🔋 seven quick presses of the power button, with the screen locked and the phone in your pocket;
- 📲 a shortcut or widget on the home screen;
- 📳 continuous shaking for 3 seconds;
- 🤕 fall detection, which triggers by itself if you are unable to do anything.
A short countdown always precedes sending: giving you time to cancel if it was a mistake.
📡 What your loved ones receive
- 🔔 a notification that rings, even if the phone is on silent;
- ✉️ a text message, which gets through where the internet no longer does (car park, cellar, countryside);
- 🗺️ your position, updated every 15 seconds;
- 📸 the images from both your cameras, front and rear: one photo from each every 20 seconds;
- 🎙️ the sound around you, in 10-second segments, throughout the alert.
👀 Not just a position: they see and hear
A dot on a map doesn't tell you what is happening. With SOSBY, your loved ones see what your two cameras film and hear what is being said around you, from the start to the end of the alert. A fall, an assault, a sudden illness: they understand straight away whether they need to rush over, call or alert the emergency services, and they can describe the situation to them. Photos and sound can be switched off in the settings if you wish.
🤝 They respond, and the whole circle sees who is doing what
“I've seen it”, “I'm calling”, “I'm on my way”: with one finger, from the notification. A direct-dial button for 112 is available on the alert screen.
