News alert March 2023: Phishing targeting Boursorama Banque customers

3 March 2023 · 1 min read

A current campaign is targeting the bank BOURSORAMA Banque and its customers.

What does the scam look like?

You receive an e-mail from the fake "Boursorama Banque" customer service asking you to confirm your personal information to secure your bank account.

A link to click redirects you to a fake website imitating the look and feel of "Boursorama Banque".

Its address is: https://connexion-boursorama-clients.com

On this page they ask for your banking login details, identity and address information, and finally your bank card numbers.

You've got it: their aim is to steal some of your information, but above all your bank card details.

Advice:

Look at who sent you the e-mail, the sender's exact address, here:

help@mamafaka.com

That alone should already raise your suspicions.

Then examine the link the e-mail wants to send you to, here:

https://connexion-boursorama-clients.com

Look up information on this domain name with whois:

https://who.is/

Look at the results, and above all at the domain's creation date:

Here we can see that it has only just been registered, which points to a scam, as phishing sites are short-lived.

Important Dates

Expires On 2024-03-02 Registered On 2023-03-02 Updated On 2023-03-02

Warning!

Your bank will never ask you to click on a link to disclose your personal information. It will invite you to check the messaging section of your banking app in order to contact you.

Stay vigilant!
